Horror Pun Title 2: Dead and Breakfast

 Matthew Leutwyler's Dead and Breakfast has been receiving a lot of praises from reviewers all over the net in the last few months, so the recent unveiling of a new poster and a DVD release date is welcome for those who have been unable to catch this film at festivals so far (like us for instance!)
The US DVD release from Anchor Bay is now set for September 6, 2005.
Features will include a commentary by the director Matthew Leutwyler, deleted scenes, poster artwork, a stills art gallery and (why do they always say this? - they only really ever mean animated menus and/or subtitles) apparently much more.
The film features a plot whereby a group of friends packed in a RV get lost on their way to a wedding. and decide to spend the night at a spooky little Southern bed and breakfast owned by David Carradine.
It's then not long before the owner turns up dead from an apparent heart attack and his cook is found splattered all over the kitchen. Ultimately this leads to the group cracking open a box containing an angry spirit that begins to turn the inhabitants of the town into bloodthirsty ghouls.
More Information
The film also features Jeremy Sisto (May) and has been compared to Shaun of the Dead, but with much more extreme gore.
