The Sun debuts the new trailer for Wolf Creek
3rd Jul 05
Who'd have thunk it, eh? The world exclusive debut of the much-talked-about Australian cult flick Wolf Creek has popped up on the online site for the British tabloid newspaper, The Sun.
The film has generated much word of mouth at recent festival screenings, with the film's violent content prompting many walk outs.
With Optimum Releasing now confirming that Wolf Creek will receive it's first worldwide territorial release in the UK on September 16th (ahead of the US November release date), the marketing push begins here.
Greg McLean's film (made for less than $2 million) focuses on a group of backpackers who go missing in the Australian outback, where they have a run in with a loopy stranger. To see the trailer in various formats, visit www.thesun.co.uk.
Visit the official website at www.wolfcreek.co.uk.
More Information
It's been rumoured that Wolf Creek will be the closing film at London's FrightFest event in August. Visit www.frightfest.co.uk for more details.
