Aintitcool reviews Shaun of the Dead
5th Apr 04
Ok, so we're biased at Eatmybrains about this movie (we were all lucky enough to land small zombie roles in the film), but here is one of the best of a bunch of glowing reviews that are starting to filter through in the week leading up to it's UK release this coming Friday (April 9th).
'Quint' from Aintitcool - "So, how is it that the comedy movie that, I'm sure, cost 1/10th of DAWN OF THE DEAD, ended up having the cooler zombies and most well drawn characters? From one zombie nut to another don't miss the chance to see this film!"
So it's all good. With news that Focus Features are handling US distribution (although with no release date as yet), here's hoping Shaun hits paydirt on these UK shores, leading to further glory.
Eatmybrains have a preview screening on tuesday night, so we'll bring you our own (obviously unbiased) report later in the week.

More Information
Romero has seen the film, and reportedly 'loves it'. Recommendations for a zombie film don't get any higher!!
